Prota Stafylia was originally founded 300 years ago as a passion project for an immensely wealthy Gaius Senator. They found the lack of good options for Wine very displeasing, and decided to set up a world full of Vineyards, in a paradise designed for the growing of wine, and sent as many Master Vintners to the planet as possible.
These Vintners became the founders of the many the Vinyeards that now populate Prota Stafylia, and operate as both the expert artisans that put the planet on the map, but also the ruling elite. The people of the planet now live a life of luxury.

The Vineyards: Each Vineyard is run by a noble Family that has produced wine there for generations. For a Family to lose their estate would be political ruin, so each estate maintains meticulous records of inheritance
The Mother Vine: The original Grape Vine. The walk to this gargantuan plant is a holy pilgrimage. the road to the Vine is layered with grapes that are crushed underfoot, allowing fresh wine to flow as the Pilgrims pass. The grapes from this Vine are unpleasant, but one must be included in each bottle for it to be considered a True Vintage
The Great Springs: Each city is built around one of the many hot springs of Prota Stafylia. Bathing culture is vital to the Vintners of the planet. It is incredibly indecent to bathe solo, you should always be bathed by another
