Planet Name - Senatus Faction - The Gaius Commonwealth
Senatus is the political hub of The Gaius Commonwealth and where its leaders gather to debate the key policies and vote on acts that effect the entire faction. This planet is covered in eternal winter and those outside of the faction call it “the planet where politics freezes” due to how slow their politics are. It is a deeply Arcane and Scientific Planet, and a leader in both fields making in it a prestigious schooling location for any Gifted seeking education.
Key Locations
Memorial City: Memorial City is the planetary capital and host to the visiting dignitaries of the Houses of Gaius. It has one of the busiest Airspaces in all of Aurora Novus and is used to debate the endless political cogs that Keep The Gaius Commonwealth moving forward.
The Greenhouse: A city-sized indoors botany facility that produces a staggering quantity of organic material for the faction, everything from food to synthetic rubbers and clothing is growth here.
The Ancient Halls: The Tundritas use there ancient and powerful halls to the connect and restores the power held within their internal magics. It is rumoured the spirits of their most powerful mages can seen wandering the halls free of their robotic forms here, but no outsider has even been inside.
Key Disadvantages
Political Churning: The Political Spheres that The Gaius Commonwealth operate under are slow to act, even by the standards of Aurora Novus however amongst the Commonwealth, Senatus is the slowest by far. There are topics still been debating after centuries of passionate discussion.
Eternal Winter: Senatus is a frozen world where snow days are considered warm. It struggles with a great many mundane tasks that more habitable worlds take for granted, such as industrial scale agriculture and sunlight. The world relies heavily on its Gifted in order to function and without them, it would struggle.
Homeworld Race - Tundran Tundrans are native inhabitants of Senatus and are robots built from ice, powered by the spirits of the mages from a forgotten age. Their skin is often covered in frost and embedded with many implants, commonly their hair is white or blonde. They value the study of magic and science above all else and see themselves as the future of humanity.
